I’ve been entranced by WWII uniforms ever since I tried my grandfather’s Air Force uniform jacket on several, several years ago. The construction of it was just so beautiful.
So, I thought this would be fun to do.
I’ve got a wig picked out. And I’ve been hunting fabric.
The problem with the fabric, though, is cost. I found something very nice but it was going to be way way way WAY over budget.
So I’ve picked out what I think is a suitable and more affordable alternative. I haven’t gotten much past that. I’m going to pick out a pattern I want to modify and do a mock-up.
